The programme concludes with discussions on developing IP in the area of landmark factual content as well as the writer’s creative process, highlighting adaptability, innovation, and collaboration as essential drivers of IP success.

Day 2 explores the international dimensions of IP creation and growth. The day begins with a focus on fandom and strategies for building audiences in a connected world. Sessions then examine emerging trends such as the rise of mobile vertical video drama as a new storytelling format. A panel discussion highlights Ireland’s advantages for IP development, followed by insights into merging film and gaming to create both linear and immersive experiences. Later, attention turns to the franchise model and how to make IP commercially sustainable, before concluding with legal considerations and practical guidance on self-greenlighting projects for creative independence using AI.
